Our store, Scanica Furniture Warehouse, was established in 1999.

The SCANICA business idea is to offer a wide range of home furnishings with clean, recyclable, non-toxic and environmentally safe furniture at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them. And still have money left!

The furniture that we sell is made from solid pine.

• What is Pine?
Pine is softwood that’s grown and used worldwide. It is light in color with a prominent grain and has knots that are usually much darker than the rest of the wood. Many woodworkers favor pine because it is easy to work with.

Pine furniture is less expensive than many other wood pieces, especially if you buy it unfinished, which makes it a very popular choice. It can be painted, stained or covered in a clear coat of varnish. The wood’s noticeable grain and knots give each piece a unique look. This furniture is durable, comes unassembled and is very well packed. All furniture is available in a lacquered finish like honey, natural, and un-lacquered (unfinished). It is very inexpensive and very high in quality.

Because most items are packed flat, you can get them home easily, and assemble them yourself. This means we don't charge you for things you can easily do on your own. So together we save money... for a better everyday life.
